General Information

A team is four active team members and substitutes. There are four substitution opportunities during a game. A game has three periods. The first and third periods have twenty toss-up questions answered on a first response basis. The second period is a ten question team question. Team questions are presented and answered in written form. Both teams are given the same team questions and are allowed three to five minutes, depending on age level, to answer the questions. All OAAC tournaments are round robin tournaments.

Questions for all levels of OAAC academic bowl come from current curriculum and are submitted by the teachers from the participating schools.
