Who qualifies for the TOC?

Students placing first, second or third in English, reading, science, social studies, math or current events in a scholastic competition featuring ten or more schools

Mathcounts individual first, second or third place individuals from the regional level

Geography Bee students qualifying for the state competition.

The TOC is held at Redlands Community College in El Reno. Entry forms will be distributed as students qualify. If your qualifying student has not received information by April 1, contact  the OAAC office for an entry form.

 

Friday Night (April 11) conflict testing from 6-8 same location.  Please indicate on your entry form if you will need to test on Friday night.

Qualifying Tournaments

The following list of tournaments is not intended to be a complete listing. Each year new tournaments are formed and existing tournaments are discovered. To serve as a qualifying tournament for the Tournament of Champions, ten or more schools must be in attendance. Exceptions to the qualifier are: Long standing tournaments which are area or county limited; new tournaments where ten or more schools were invited but only 8+ attended; tournaments held in a geographic location that make ten or more schools impossible to achieve (the panhandle of Oklahoma). If the ten or more school rule is waved there must be at least one student from each school testing in each specific area (e.g. English, math, science, current events, reading and social studies). If you participate in a scholastic tournament not listed below, please send tournament information to the OAAC office ASAP. Most tournaments are limited to a geographical area and/or number of teams participating. A tournament listed here does not imply an open enrollment tournament.
